Pakistani “Talha Talib” from Gujranwala An 18-year-old Weightlifter has won the first medal for Pakistan in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2018 in Australia’s Gold Coast on Thursday in Weightlifting.
Talha Talib lifted a total of 283kg to clinched the bronze medal in the 62kg category in 21st Commonwealth Games 2018. He also lifting 132kg in the snatch event and created a Commonwealth Games record.
Muhamad Aznl Bidin from Malaysia’s grabbed the gold medal and on the other hand, Papua New Guinea’s More Baru won the silver medal in the Weightlifting category.
